Is ACCOUNTABILITY overrated? I don't think so! It is not!

I've made some commitments early this year with guys I am in accountability group with. These guys check with me and ask the difficult questions every week if I am able to execute them and challenge me to go to the next level!

If you do not have these kinds of guys, join a Mastermind TODAY!

How To Get Your Wayward cChildren Back

Posted by Aaron Walker on Mar 29, 2021 9:00:00 AM

Some of you guys, my heart goes out for you today because you're dealing with children that you have a broken relationship with. You don't have any ties, any connections.

Here's what I want you to do today. Reach out to those kids today with maybe a word of encouragement, maybe a hug on them, love on them. Tell them that you love them.

I am not saying condone what they've done. We have a lot of kids out there that are knuckleheads that have done the wrong thing. They've made bad decisions. But let me remind you of something. You made some bad decisions yourself as a child, as a teenager, as a young adult. Don't hold them to a standard that you're not willing to adhere to yourself when you were a younger kid. Let's show some grace.

Be the bigger person. What I am saying is there is nothing that they would do that would separate my love and willingness to go out and pursue them. Maybe you need to say "Hey I don't agree with what you're doing but I want you to know that I will spend my last quarter helping you if you're willing to change."

Don't love your passbook more than you do your kid. You got to love them back to you not beat them into submission.

Small Minds Talk About People, Great Minds Discuss Ideas

Posted by Aaron Walker on Mar 10, 2021 9:00:00 AM

I heard the saying years ago that small minds talk about people and great minds talk about ideas. It is very true! We need to stop talking negative and talk about people. Quit blowing our own whistle, boasting or bragging. We need to start talking about ideas, talking about sharing and helping. A mindset of something like, "How can I help you? What can I do to take you to the next level? What can I do to introduce you to the right person?". Be a part of the solution not part of the problem.

Expect Nothing From Anyone And You Will Never Be Disappointed

Posted by Aaron Walker on Feb 22, 2021 9:02:06 AM

Is it even possible to expect nothing from others just to get not disappointed? But I do want to tell you this. It has played out well in life over the years. We really have unmet expectations that causes huge disappointments in our lives. "Expect nothing from anyone and you will never be disappointed" is thru. You know why? We do not know people's situation. Even family members. We really do not know the road that they are going thru. We do not know the whole story. We do not know their history. We do not know the whole perspective..

What we should do is be focusing on what we are responsible of doing - the things that we should be doing.
