You Don’t Need All The Answers To Get Started

Posted by Aaron Walker on Jun 1, 2022 9:00:00 AM

You don't have to know every single answer to get started. A Lot of you guys ask me all the time, “Big A! Tell me about your master play and tell me about all the things that you're accomplishing and how its laid out for you and how you had it playing?” And I'm like slow down a minute, man. Take a breath. I didn't have any of this stuff playing five years ago! When I started View From The Top. Many of you say, “Hey, I don't have the big picture. I can't see it and so therefore I'm not going to get started.” Listen, you're not going to know what it's gonna look like in its entirety. You just need to start. You need to get out of the gate! You need to launch! You need to go for it and then pivot and turn and you will figure it out as you go. Now, don't be reckless. Don’t get out there and do something crazy. Don’t do something with no plan whatsoever. In whatever it is that you're trying I just want to give you the courage today to launch! Just to get out there and then pivot and turn make the the adjustments that you need to in order to be successful. The scary part though is getting out of the gate. You’re like, “Oh man, I can't do this unless I have every “T" crossed and every I dotted.” I just want to tell you that's not true. You can figure this out as you go. Get trusted advisors around you. Get people that are smarter than you are. When you have the Council of the wisdom of the multitudes the people around you that meet with you on a regular basis that can guide you direct you, you too can launch.

Today Is That Day That Yesterday You Were Planning For

Posted by Aaron Walker on May 25, 2022 9:00:00 AM

Let tell you what I mean on this video's title. I am not going to teach you any tricks, tips, hacks or anything today. I just like you to enjoy today. I have read a book some years ago and I did not agree with everything that book said but it's titled "Enjoy The Now". And I think often times we tend to do just that. I know, often times I've been guilty of planning for the future. I am only thinking about retirement. If things get better, I am going to do this and that. But you know, if I think back, ten or fifteen years ago, today is that day that I was planning for! You know, we were not promised tomorrow. Right, we were not promised for anything but today. Simply take a moment today and think, "Am I investing on the right things? Am I spending time with my family, significant other? Am I really enjoying my time with my peers? This is the day! If you choose to, we can enjoy today!

Where You Spend Your Time Reveals What’s Important To You

Posted by Aaron Walker on May 18, 2022 9:00:00 AM

I have just discovered over the past couple of months that there's one area that we have not fully covered in our mastermind group - we are about to spend 2 months diving deep into. John Gottman wrote a great book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work: A Practical Guide from the Country's Foremost Relationship Expert. Our Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind group is going to spend June and July 2019 breaking down that book and understand the principles in it that can make our marriage great.

Guys, I'd like to tell you right now. Where things breaking down often times is at home. I'd like to ask you for a second. Where's your marriage at? Like to encourage you to think about your relationships today.

What Is Your Character Worth?

Posted by Aaron Walker on May 16, 2022 9:00:00 AM

I'd like to encourage you today when you're doing deals, think through what the real cost is. Not only as it relates to the financial loss but what it could pertain to as it relates to your reputation. We are people of character. We have integrity and we need to stick to our word regardless of the financial outcome. When you're faced with dilemmas think about what your character is worth and go forward and make the right decision.
