How To Be A Connector

I cannot emphasize this enough but it is so important to be the "connector". I have come to learn this years and years ago, probably decades ago now, that it has paid the most dividends in my professional career as well as personally ..... how to be a connector. To be a connector, you simply connect people that need to know each other on a daily basis. I mean, literally, on a daily basis. Such practice or habit has its value/importance. It is so important to get an introduction to the other person or vice-versa. It cuts to about 90% of the bureaucracy, the red tape, if you will, by introducing someone to somebody because they assume that they have already been vetted - they know that they are a good person.

Smile, it makes all the difference in the world! Smile, it is that important! It even has an influence in the level of your success. Be that cheerful and smiling person, you will see what different it will make on other people and watch how will your circumstances change. Be positively infectious! Choose to be hapy! Choose to smile consistently! Choose to be an encouragement to others!

Are You Simply A Bystander?

I'd like to ask you a question today. What have you done radical that impacted the life of somebody? Whether a family member or a friend? We do not need to have enough money to do something radical to impact the lives of other people. We can go out and do acts of service. I'd like to encourage and think about it. Do not be that bystander! Get out there and think what you can do to radically impact somebody!

Hey, do you realise that you own something that can't be bought? Let me tell you what it is....... It's your reputation. Do you realize fully how important your reputation is? Man, it follows you everywhere. You're building a reputation each and every day. With each and every transaction you're building your reputation. Your reputation follows you. It's something that you can't get rid of and many times in life we'll make decisions in the gray and eventually that catches up to you because it's your reputation. It's something that follows you how hard. Do you work on your character? What are you doing today to be above reproach? Are you honest? Are you doing deals every day that you wouldn't be embarrassed someday?

A Little Bit Of Effort Goes A Long Way

I gotta be honest with you. Some of you need a little bit of that work ethic. Some of you need to breathe that into your children. Some of you need to teach them that they are not entitled - that you are not going to give everything. Listen, the harder you work the blessed you get - that's why I have titled this "A little bit of effort goes a long way." I just want to encourage you guys today that when you teach your children or grandchildren to work is not gonna kill 'em.
