You know what's happening in our lives today? There are indicator lights all around us. There are warning light going on. And more often than not, we do not attend to this warnings. We just ignore them! Like, there are some areas in our lives that we can hope all we want but until we deal with it it is not going away. I'd like to encourage you to deal with those kind of situations - there are indicator lights and I'd like you to pay attention!

I wanted to encourage you guys to do some things a little bit differently and I thought I would just share with you what I do. What I do is that I come over to this place, a park near Old Hickory Lake, periodically and there's these benches that are around the lake and sit and think and get away from the computer, get away from the phone and I write. I make notes. I just come over here kind of relax meditate for a little while and just think how am I going to accomplish a certain task that I'm setting out to do. So maybe it's crazy. Maybe you do all your thinking at the office but for me going to these parks the greenways hanging out looking at nature just thinking. But I’d like to ask you guys, where do you go to do your critical thinking?

Let tell you what I mean on this video's title. I am not going to teach you any tricks, tips, hacks or anything today. I just like you to enjoy today. I have read a book some years ago and I did not agree with everything that book said but it's titled "Enjoy The Now". And I think often times we tend to do just that. I know, often times I've been guilty of planning for the future. I am only thinking about retirement. If things get better, I am going to do this and that. But you know, if I think back, ten or fifteen years ago, today is that day that I was planning for! You know, we were not promised tomorrow. Right, we were not promised for anything but today. Simply take a moment today and think, "Am I investing on the right things? Am I spending time with my family, significant other? Am I really enjoying my time with my peers? This is the day! If you choose to, we can enjoy today!
