It is pertinent to decompress after a long and tiring day. It would be best to give yourself a breather, give yourself a 30-minute break once you get home and before putting on your "daddy or husband hat". But always look after your spouse's well-being as well. Do the same with your spouse. Give and take. Take time in allowing your spouse to have his/her own breather time. You will see that doing so will make a big difference.

I took a few days off, we went to Chattanooga and kind of hung out. This guy asked me, “what do you do professionally?” I looked at him and I thought for a minute. I thought you know, I'm going to tell this guy what I do and he's not going to have a clue, he's not going to understand it.
Allow me to explain the reason I'm so passionate about what I do. 10 years ago I was going to retire. I was going to hang it up and I was going to call it good and then a couple of my buddies encouraged me to start coaching - which I did. I fell in love with it! I started doing podcast interviews, kind of telling a little bit more about my story and people started coming asking me to coach them, teach them how to live a successful and a significant life.
Go ahead and watch the video above to know more about the story...

Robin and I decided years ago that we were going to live our life very intentional, very purposeful. I went through some pretty tough stuff early on in my career and it really changed the paradigm shift of my life and made me really think about things that were important. Now, I just want to ask you today, how do you win the day? What I mean by that is, are you living a life reactive or proactive?
