No automation or whatsoever can take the place of personal engagement and encouragement. Reach to a person and be an encouragement. That person might be needing it. Now, go out and reach out to someone!

Boundaries. Do you guys have boundaries? Have you implemented a strategy for your family where they know exactly where you stand? What are you going to allow or disallow? For your wife? For your children? How about for yourself?

I have talked this in the about but this time I am going to elaborate. And I’d like you to listen loud and clear because this is an unusual mindset. I’d like to teach you maybe to think outside the box a little bit and do some things that's not ordinarily the way that you might think. It's going to take a transformation in the way a lot of you think in order to do what I'm talking about.
Listen, you've got to have a giving heart, a giving mindset in order for that natural reciprocity to come back. Some small tiny examples can be like our postman thinks that we're the greatest because we put money out there at various times to thank them for bringing our mail. And you wouldn't believe what our postman will do for us but we don't do it for that reason we do it because we're GRATEFUL. I'm not telling you this to boast. I’m telling you this is because this is the way our mindset has to go. Our mindset has to go how can we help other people, how can we reach out and promote/encourage/empower them.

It is pertinent to decompress after a long and tiring day. It would be best to give yourself a breather, give yourself a 30-minute break once you get home and before putting on your "daddy or husband hat". But always look after your spouse's well-being as well. Do the same with your spouse. Give and take. Take time in allowing your spouse to have his/her own breather time. You will see that doing so will make a big difference.

Grab the book Profit First: Transform Your Business from a Cash-Eating Monster to a Money-Making Machine by Mike Michalowicz. The thesis of the book is you need to pay yourself first - it is an accounting system that you go through to implement. It's kind of like a digital envelope system, kind of like what Dave Ramsey teaches in the envelope system but you do it digitally. This book radically changed my personal life. If I hadn't have done implemented the concept found in the book, I might not have been prepared financially to have the cash reserves that we've got in order to go through this trying season.
