As men, we were not created to do life alone. At any stage of his life, a man should learn from others while simultaneously sharing what he has learned. He should be a teacher and a student. A mentor and be mentored.
To facilitate this, The Community has announced an added value to all members by allowing them to post their blogs directly on The Community site. While only members will be able to post and comment, all visitors will be able to read and learn from the content.
"The wisdom, engagement, and inspiration in The Community is amazing!" said Aaron Walker, founder of view From the Top. "We want to help men live a life of success and significance." Members posting to the blog will be another valuable tool for the men of The Community.
The editorial guidelines are simple:
1. The content must be original.
It should never be copied from other sites even if you created it. This is for the protection of both sites. Google tends to punish sites with duplicate content.
2. The content should be 500 to 1,000 words.
3. Topics should focus on areas that can help men grow in their professional, personal and spiritual life.
3. It should include an image that communicates the topic or theme.
4. There should be no vulgarity, lewdness or crudeness.
Remember this is visible to all visitors. Your grandmother or grandchild could read this the day it posts or decades later. We want to set the example and raise the bar higher.
5. Please include your name and short bio at the end of the blog.
This way nonmembers of The Community get to know a bit more about you. As well, you can promote yourself or company with links.
6. Once a week, a selected blog may be transferred to the main View From the Top blog and promoted.
7. View From the Top retains the right to delete, edit, repurpose and promote the content.
