Do You Dream?

Just the other day I caught myself dreaming. I wasn’t dreaming about random things. I was dreaming specifically about a potential business acquisition that might be available for the taking. I was driving from my home to the Chicago airport which is roughly two hours away from my house. I had a lot of time to burn.

The specifics of what I was dreaming about and envisioning are not important. What is more important is that I was taking what most would see as impossible and perhaps even impractical and create a world that could be. I allowed myself to dream big, create multiple possibilities, and maneuver potential obstacles that could arise. To be completely honest this fueled me. I renewed my drive and purpose, He gave me a sense of power and even accomplishment. Yes, this was all in my head and that is my point. We have the ability to control the thoughts and feelings inside of our heads. I get to decide how the environment and experiences I have affected me.

Do you have experiences and life situations that are affecting you? Are you letting them control the way that you feel and react? Now I have absolutely no intention to move my career in a new direction but dreaming allowed me to feel and experience success.  You can do this. You have the ability and the power to go where you want to go, be what you want to be, and do what you want to do.  I believe you no matter what happens, I believe in you.

Do you Dream? What do you do with your dreams?
