Questions For A Team-Driven Professional: 4 Questions To Find High-Value Experts For Every Job

“What is the ultimate quantification of success For me, it’s not how much time you spend doing what you love. It’s how little time you spend doing what you hate.” (1)

Have you ever managed a project that didn’t function correctly because of a problem? How long did it take to solve the problem? What opportunities did you miss out on because this problem occupied your time?

Casey Neistat said, “What is the ultimate quantification of success? For me, it’s not how much time you spend doing what you love. It’s how little time you spend doing what you hate.” He hit the nail on the head!

As a professional, the demands on your time grow every day. We get hard-pressed by the hiccups of life: we forget to prioritize our time to create a lasting impact.

We often encounter problems we can’t overcome without missing out on something important—for example, a business partnership with a neighboring industry. Even worse, we miss out on opportunities we’ll never know could happen.

When we don’t learn to organize our time well, we become obsessed with the process of how to solve problems. We limit ourselves from growing when we ask “how.” It’s a great question to solve problems, but if we’d focus on who can help solve our problems, we’d free ourselves from the stress dilemmas bring.

We must ask ourselves, “Is it possible to cut this project’s time in half if I focus on who can run the show? Can I meet my goals without committing most of my hours to these tasks?”

As we begin to build our network of reliable professionals, our potential becomes limitless! Our imagination starts to run wild with the possibilities of what we can accomplish. We can make aggressive moves towards our goals instead of being defensive when we make decisions.

The Important Questions

Creative people always invent their past, present, and future. Instead of seeing problems as obstacles, they approach them as opportunities.

When a husband can’t resolve an argument with his wife, and he asks, “How can I make things better?” he limits his imagination. But, if he asks himself, “Who can help me resolve the conflict?” the sky is the limit for him.

Professionals ask essential questions about how they should invest their time. Every second spent matters to them. As people become less tolerant of circumstances in their life, they begin to receive more from their accomplishments.

When we start with “who,” we unlock the potential to experience success in every part of our lives. Our projects will simplify and gain significant momentum as we begin to ask the right questions.

4 Questions To Gain Radical Momentum

In the book Who Not How, authors Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy walk through a series of questions professionals need to ask to achieve success through their Moving Future process.

1. What Are The Achievements That Make You Proud?

Most people fail to recognize the accomplishments and the hurdles they’ve overcome in their lives. As they pursue their careers, they’re more prone to burnout and depression.

As human beings, we crave recognition. We desire acceptance and praise from our efforts to ensure that our accomplishments do matter!

For example, professionals take time to acknowledge their achievements and others as they continue to learn from their mistakes.

2. What Areas Of Focus And Progress Make You Confident?

I love the quote, “If you do everything, you’ll be a master of nothing.” As children grow, they learn based on what they want to know. They decide what interests them while throwing away what’s boring.

As an adult, we start to learn based on what we need to know. When faced with an obstacle, we rearrange our priorities and what we learn in order to solve the problem. As professionals, we understand we can rely on others who have become proficient in their work as we specialize in one or two fields.

3. Looking Forward, What Goals Excite You?

In every industry, people must feel motivated and have a clear vision of what they want. When a team procrastinates on a goal, they drift like a boat without a destination. They don’t know where they’ll end up!

Take time to imagine ahead and think about what personally motivates you. Ask “who” can help accomplish your goals and who’s excited in their job field, and you’ll determine your project’s success.

4. What Are 5 Objectives You Can Do To Make This Quarter Great?

As we continue forward in our projects, our team must have a series of objectives to accomplish. By taking 90 days out of a year, we begin to eliminate tasks by adding professionals to handle each job.

We must find our “who” to solve our “how” to achieve our goal. When we add another professional to our team, our commitment and confidence will rise. Take time to arrange your tasks to build on your strengths.

When professionals prioritize finding the right person for the job, they create an excellent work environment to deliver incredible results. Make some time to think through your questions: your team will thank you for it. Begin by applying this, and the sky becomes the limit on your success.

As you work through it, you’ll need other professionals who can help you make lasting connections and prioritize your success. Reach out to us at our website and apply to join one of our mastermind groups online.
